Job Title: Dairy Intern
Supervisor: Jeff Wendler
Regular Hours: 5-15 hours a week
Schedule: Flexible schedule Monday-Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wage: $12.00 hourly
Overall purpose and objective of this position:
The purpose of this internship is to introduce the student to current dairy operations. The student will work in cooperation with staff in a variety of settings.
Scope of Work:
- Job shadow Veterinarian, Nutritionist and reproductive personnel.
- Learn animal safety and reporting guidelines.
- Work with Financial Analysts and Forecasters.
- Learn management systems and staffing needs.
- Work with maternity staff.
- Assist Maintenance Team.

- Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Outgoing and willing to work with people of all ages
- Strong attendance and work ethic background
