JOB DESCRIPTION Stan?eld School District has a vacancy for the 2021-22 school year for a 6th-grade Mulple Subjects Teacher at Stan?eld Secondary School. This posion will be responsible for teaching core subjects and elecves to 6th-grade students in the middle school. Licensure and endorsements must allow for mid-level mulple subjects.
QUALIFICATIONS • Must hold or be eligible to hold the appropriate Oregon Teaching License and Endorsement • Successful teaching experience • Knowledge of best pracces in teaching

OTHER PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to obtain/maintain mulple endorsement areas

• Ability to work harmoniously with others and to communicate e?ecvely (both verbally and in wring) with students, parents, and teachers

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the middle school instruconal team to align instrucon across content areas

• Planning instrucon to meet the learning needs and styles of all students

• Delivering coherent, accessible instrucon and educaonal materials to help students progress in learning

• Using a variety of assessments to inform instrucon

• Creang an environment that maximizes student learning with a focus on character development

• Modeling and teaching a growth mindset

• Providing culturally responsive instrucon

• Modeling and teaching respect with an awareness of diversity

• Demonstrang connuous professional growth
