These are 2 positions for Student Intern Clinical Support Tech with Columbia River Health in Boardman. Interns will work 5 -15 hours per week on a flexible schedule

Qualifications:

General Descriptions of Duties and Responsibilities:

The Clinical Support Technician works as a team member of the clinical team that is employed by InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD). The Clinical Support Technician assists the qualified X-ray Technician, and the Certified Medical Assistant to provide patient care. The Clinical Support Technician does not perform patient care in absence of the X-ray Technician and/or Certified Medical Assistant.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the X-ray Technician to Perform routine x-ray procedures. This includes positioning patient for the ordered X-ray, filing, and related documentation. Does not include taking exposures.
• Assist the Certified Medical Assistant with rooming the patient.
• Assist the Certified Medical Assistant with procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant work environment.
• Adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures.
• Works cooperatively and supportively with all other staff.
• Performs other necessary duties as required by CRH to meet the goal of providing primary health care services.

1. Enrolled in the Morrow County Internship Program.
2. Ability to work with staff and patients with warmth and compassion.
3. Bilingual English/Spanish with interpreting skills preferred.
