This is a student intern position for a Welding intern with Blue Mountain Manufacturing. Intern will work 5-15 hours per week with a flexible schedule.

Overall purpose and objective of this position:

By offering this position to Morrow County’s youth, Blue Mountain Manufacturing hopes to educate students about the manufacturing industry, as well as open their eyes to opportunities locally to be a part of an impactful industry across the country. Scope of Work:

Students will be provided with opportunities to experience the following:

• Cut, clean and pre-process parts for fabrication
• Gain and improve upon basic welding skills
• Help implement lean manufacturing and efficiency programs within the company

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read cut lists provided

• Ability to read a tape measure

• Basic understanding of welding
