Internship Overview:

Hansen Veterinary Services provides mobile veterinary services to cats, dogs, horses, and farm livestock. The small animal part of the practice is done in a mobile vet clinic where we haul into communities and provide most small animal services such as spays, neuters, mass removals, dentals, vaccinations, digital radiology and more.

The large animal services include:

• Cattle services include pregnancy diagnosis, brucellosis vaccinations, examinations, post-mortem exams, breeding soundness examinations, calving’s, emergency care, regulatory work, and more.
• Horse care includes routine wellness exams, vaccinations, castrations, umbilical hernia repairs, dentals, lameness, colic work ups, emergency care, and more.

Scope of Work:

Maintain a high level of customer service:

• Great and assist customers.
• Clean and organize kennels.
• Assist during procedures.
• Surgery instrument preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
